Section 1- Organized to promote national amateur wrestling competition in children. The wrestling coaches will teach every aspect of wrestling including Greco-Roman, Freestyle, and Folkstyle.
Section 2- To develop in members the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, strong work ethic, team work, and respect for authority.
Section 3- To supervise, sponsor and financially assist disciplines and competitive program of wrestling.
Section 4- The club will stress the concept of parents and children working and playing together in all club activities so that the family may be strengthened in the process.
Section 5- To make the sport of wrestling available to all children and parents, within the age requirements without exception aged four years old through the 8th grade. During spring and summer program elementary through high school aged.
Section 6- The coaches will teach the technical skills, cardiovascular endurance, nutrition, kinesiological and biomechanical principles of the sport.
Section 7- This wrestling club will prepare students to succeed in each aspect of mental, physical and social aspects of their being. We promote the abilities needed to be successful in a future society.
Section 8- We will afford a mentoring experience for our senior high school wrestlers.
The Granite City Wrestling Club is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501©(3) of the Internal Revenue code.
